BHD group history
BRETAGNE BACHES, BHD’s first company, was created in 1974 to fit the side curtains of the semi-trailers of BLOND BAUDOUIN. Since then, the BHD group has never ceased to diversify. The group has based its success and stability on its business model, pursuing its business development through external growth and the creation of specialist businesses providing solutions for markets with a strong potential. In order to take on the major challenges of the future, the BHD group can rely on a unique organisational structure: a network of 26 subsidiaries, which seamlessly combine the synergies of their technical resources and the pooling of their skills.
1974
Creation of BRETAGNE BACHES, whose goal is to make curtains for the industrial vehicle sector.
1984
As part of a strategy of diversification, MAINE BACHES was created and is targeting the market for tents and structures
1992
Foundation of the group by the BHD holding company – Blond Holding Développement. Foundation of VENDEE BACHES in partnership with SAMRO. Acquisition of ACS PRODUCTION
